Mayor Hospitality Management is expanding its portfolio with the addition of four new boutique hotels. The hotels concern the acquisition of the Dimitriou family, following the sale of Capo Di Corfu, La Grotta Verde, Pelekas Monastery, and Mon Repos Palace to the American fund HIG. Among these new acquisitions, the Restia Suites Exclusive Resort in Corfu is set to be the first to open, fully renovated in 2024. This marks a significant shift for Mayor Hospitality Management towards the boutique hotel sector, promising premium accommodation experiences and heralding a new era for the company in the hospitality industry.
Since 2009, Mayor Hospitality Management has been a prominent player in the hospitality sector, known for its successful management of large-scale units. The company, which oversees the entire investment and financial portfolio of the Dimitriou family, has recently upgraded the Restia Suites Exclusive Resort. This five-star boutique hotel boasts 32 suites, half of which feature private pools. The initial phase of the investment, started in 2023, is set to be completed within the year, leading to the hotel’s re-introduction to the public after a thorough renovation of its facilities and services. Looking forward, the second phase of expansion is anticipated in the coming years, aiming to increase the total number of suites to 80, with the investment projected to reach 20 million euros.
