It functions as a gathering point for those who want to spend an entire day by the water, combining relaxation, refreshing cocktails, food, and music.

Every weekend, the pool at Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens hosts poolside DJ sessions that set the tone for the Riviera’s summer afternoons. Balearic sounds, organic house, downtempo grooves, and ethnic influences make up the musical backdrop by the water, giving Glyfada’s summer weekends their own rhythm.

All-day dining at Sebastian

Sebastian, the hotel’s French-American restaurant under the direction of Executive Chef Elvi Dimitris Zyba, has become a favorite destination for brunch, lunch, and dinner in Glyfada. Its philosophy draws inspiration from the classic bistros of New York and Paris, while making use of seasonal ingredients and Mediterranean flavors.

Its brunch, in particular, has established itself as one of the go-to meeting points in the southern suburbs, combining creative dishes, cocktails, and the relaxed atmosphere that characterizes Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens. With views over the pool and a setting that balances contemporary design with unpretentious hospitality, Sebastian welcomes both hotel guests and the wider city public every day.

Throughout the summer, the experience is occasionally enriched with musical evenings that accompany dinner, giving guests one more reason to spend the day at the restaurant, from morning until late at night.

Views, cocktails, and music nights at Sora Rooftop

On the hotel’s top floor, Sora has established itself as one of the most distinctive rooftop destinations on the Athens Riviera. On one side, Sora Restaurant presents a contemporary take on pan-Asian cuisine through signature dishes, an exclusive selection of sake labels, and a carefully curated cocktail menu. On the other, Sora Rooftop Lounge sets the tone for Glyfada’s summer evenings, combining sunset views, signature cocktails, and curated musical experiences, with vistas stretching from Mount Hymettus to the Saronic Gulf.

Throughout the summer, the lounge’s program is enriched with themed music nights, including “Keys in the Sky” with Efrem on June 20, “Vinyls in the Sky” with George Rallis on June 27, and “Beats in the Sky” with Nikko Sunset on July 4, turning every sunset into a different experience above the Athens Riviera.

Wellness Sundays at Fenix

At Ace Hotel Athens, summer Sundays are dedicated to wellness. Each week, different instructors from Hobnob, one of Glyfada’s best-known wellness studios, lead 75-minute yoga sessions hosted at Fenix, a bright, flexible space within the hotel that regularly hosts activities centered on community, creativity, and wellbeing. Open to both hotel guests and the public, these morning sessions offer an opportunity for movement, connection, and a different start to the day, just minutes from the sea.

Art finds its place at Ace Hotel Athens

Alongside its summer program, Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens is hosting, through September 30, the exhibition “Villa Esperanza” by Spanish visual artist Jordi Machí, in the spaces of Good Chemistry.

Through a series of works composing an imaginary city, the artist creates a world where modern architecture, unbroken summer light, and moments that seem frozen in time invite visitors to shape their own narrative. Each piece functions like a different apartment, each façade like a story completed through the viewer’s own gaze. Jordi Machí, with an international presence across Europe, Brazil, Lebanon, the United States, Mexico, and Asia, lives and works between Madrid and Valencia, with work that balances irony and emotional intensity, offering a fresh approach to contemporary visual storytelling.

Sunset Series: The soundtrack of summer

Among the standout events of the season are the Sunset Series, bringing some of the most recognizable names in international electronic music to Glyfada.

On July 11, Ace Hotel welcomes Kaz James, with a warm-up set from Tourist ATH, while on September 18 the stage passes to Satori, with a warm-up from Carayas & Efrem. Two evenings expected to draw strong interest from the electronic music community and stand out as highlights of this year’s summer on the Athens Riviera.
