• Domes Resorts has secured the long-term lease of the iconic Xenia Ouranoupoli from HPPC under a 30-year agreement
• The property will reopen as Casa Cook Athos, the first Casa Cook hotel to be developed by Domes Resorts
• Opening is scheduled during the 2027 season

Located in Ouranoupoli, Halkidiki, a short distance from Mount Athos, the hotel combines the natural landscape of the area with the distinctive cultural and historical character of Ouranoupoli, a destination long associated with cultural and religious tourism.

Built in 1959 by architect Pericles Sakellarios, one of the most important representatives of post-war Greek architecture, Xenia Ouranoupoli forms part of the historic Xenia hotel network. Its architecture combines post-war modernism with elements of local tradition.

Domes Resorts will undertake an extensive renovation of the property with the aim of reopening it under the Casa Cook brand as Casa Cook Athos. The hotel is expected to welcome its first guests during 2027, while upon full completion of the project, total capacity will exceed 80 rooms.

Casa Cook Athos represents the first Casa Cook property to be developed by Domes Resorts, following the company’s recent acquisition of a majority stake in Casa Collective, the lifestyle hospitality platform that includes the Cook’s Club, Casa Cook and the under-development XIA brands. Casa Cook is distinguished by its minimalist boutique aesthetic, with an emphasis on the relationship between landscape, architectural identity and community, characteristics that are reflected in both Sakellarios’ historic building and the unique setting of Ouranoupoli.

The investment forms part of Domes Resorts’ broader development plan, which includes a series of new projects in Greece and abroad, and further confirms the Group’s strategic focus on destinations with a strong cultural identity, high growth potential and significant international demand.
