The award-winning restaurant leaves Restia for Mayor Group's new hotel in Roda, Corfu, reinforcing its modern Greek cuisine philosophy
A new chapter begins for Pietra. The restaurant that wrote its own story at Restia is moving to Unda, the new hotel of Mayor Group in Roda, Corfu.
Since its very first appearance, Pietra has managed to create a distinctive gastronomic identity, grounded in modern Greek creative cuisine, a deep connection to local ingredients, and a hospitality philosophy that emphasizes authenticity, simplicity, and the essence of the experience. Executive Chef Miltos Armenis has played a defining role in shaping this gastronomic identity, contributing through his creative approach to an experience that combines contemporary technique with Greek culinary memory and seasonality.
A natural evolution, not just a new address
Today, the restaurant enters a new era through its move to Unda, a space that fully expresses the modern aesthetic and experiential vision of Mayor Group.
This transition is not simply a change of location, but a natural evolution of Pietra’s philosophy. In its new setting, the restaurant gains even greater creative freedom, enhancing the experience it offers guests through the connection of gastronomy with the natural landscape, the atmosphere of the Ionian, and the contemporary style of hospitality that characterizes Mayor Group.
The same philosophy, a new setting
At its core, Pietra retains the same culinary philosophy that first brought it recognition: dishes built on seasonality, Greek flavors, and the showcase of quality ingredients from small producers and the land of the Ionian. The kitchen moves with respect for Greek culinary tradition, while continuously evolving through contemporary techniques, clean flavors, and a refined yet unpretentious approach.
A momentum confirmed by recognition
This new chapter is accompanied by significant accolades that confirm Pietra’s momentum on the country’s gastronomic map. The restaurant was honored at the FNL Best Restaurant Awards 2025 and 2026, one of the most important distinctions in Greek dining, and also received recognition at the Greek Cuisine Awards 2026, an acknowledgment that confirms its consistency, quality, and creative identity.
A destination of taste for Corfu
Through Pietra and its new presence at Unda, Mayor Group continues to invest in creating experiences that combine high-level hospitality, contemporary aesthetics, and a meaningful connection to place. With a focus on Corfu and its unique cultural and gastronomic identity, Pietra aspires to become a destination of taste and atmosphere for visitors from Greece and abroad.
