Aqua Vista Hotels
Aqua Vista Hotels was founded in 2005 and today manages a portfolio of over 30 hotels in Greece, on the islands of Santorini, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Lesvos and Skiathos. The group is involved in the creation and curation of hotels with an unique identity, and handles everything from architectural and interior design to reservations, booking management and the day-to-day functioning of all departments. Travelworks provides full public relations services to Aqua Vista Hotels, undertaking a number of projects over the course of the year.
Press & Media Relations2017 was a productive year for press and media relations at Aqua Vista Hotels, with more than 50 printed and 130 online reviews of the organisation and its hotels published. Travelworks took a b2b approach with all Aqua Vista Hotels’ media relations, focussing on the company’s unique selling propositions and competitive advantages. The Travelworks team was also on hand to handle all press and media inquiries, resulting in over 100 1-1 communications via phone, email and in person with top media representatives and journalists from both Greece and abroad.
Influencer MarketingTravelworks was successful in securing a range of influencer collaborations at various Aqua Vista Hotels properties. These included projects with two of Greece’s most prominent lifestyle and fashion bloggers, Chrissianna Andriopoulou (Shoprano) & Nikoletta Ralli, who shared their experiences at Dreams Luxury Suites Santorini with their combined 250k+ Instagram followers.
Social MediaThe Travelworks social media team oversees Aqua Vista Hotels’ social media accounts, communicating with an audience of over 200k on Facebook, 1.3k on Instagram and 2.5k on Twitter. To diversify and enhance Aqua Vista Hotel’s social media presence, Travelworks developed a range of paid ads to share on Facebook. These took the form of staff testimonials, and resulted in increased engagement and conversions for the hotel management company.
Sales MaterialsTravelworks created Aqua Vista Hotel’s corporate credentials presentation, for use at a variety of trade shows and events. These included the WTM (World Travel Market) in London, where Aqua Vista required materials to help present its services to the public and discuss potential new ventures. Aqua Vista Hotels also participated with great success in the first Greek Panorama Exhibition, which took place in May 2017 in New York. Aqua Vista Hotels’ display stand presented the group’s unique philosophy of Greek hospitality to the American public.
Key to maximising Aqua Vista’s critical time during b2b meetings with potential partners and buyers, was the need to tell a compelling story about the hotel management organisation. Clear corporate branding and a consistent colour scheme resulted in uncluttered presentations that were easy to present, remember and digest. Formatted to suit computers, tablets and smartphones, the presentations were optimised to suit a range of situations, from speed networking to maximum capacity speeches.
AwardsAqua Vista Hotels received a number of prestigious awards in 2017, including five separate accolades at the Greek Tourism Awards and World’s Best Honeymoon Hideaway at the Boutique Hotel Awards in London. Travelworks assisted with the awards process in each case, from drafting the nominations to crafting the winning press releases.
