PR & Communication activities for the Poseidonion Grand Hotel 2017
The shortlisted campaign focusses on the 2017 PR & marketing activities for the Poseidonion Grand Hotel, reflecting the brand’s core philosophy and guest demographics as well as increasing awareness of the establishment amongst locals and the wider Greek community. The Poseidonion is a landmark of the Spetses skyline, influenced by the French Riviera’s finest hotels and decorated according to the style of Belle Époque. Entering their fourth year of collaboration in 2017, Travelworks and the Poseidonion needed to continue channeling the subtle elegance and understated luxury of the hotel whilst at the same time providing fresh and exciting creative materials to engage and re-engage new and existing audiences.
The 1st International Travel & Tourism Awards
The International Travel & Tourism Awards awards, held in conjunction with WTM London, celebrate the success of national, regional and city tourist boards and recognise outstanding private sector companies and individuals. The awards provide a platform to honour the front-runners in travel and tourism across 13 categories and the 2018 finalists were chosen from the 100+ businesses who entered. A distinguished panel of independent judges chaired by Marcelo Risi, UNWTO Chief of Communications and Nick Pilbeam, Divisional Director of Reed Travel, was drawn from top industry organisations including London & Partners, Euromonitor International, public relations body PRCA, the Global Wellness Institute, the Association of Southern African Travel Agents, and LGBT consultancy Out Now.
The winners will be announced to an audience of more than 500 leading industry figures – including government ministers – during an awards ceremony at London’s Grade I-listed Tobacco Dock, not far from WTM London’s ExCeL venue on Tuesday 6th November.
