Travelworks has organised the Tweed Run, Spetses and its roll out since the event began in 2014. As a themed activation featuring vintage bikes and cyclists dressed in the classic garb of the 20s and 30s, its purpose is to draw attention to the historic character of its host, the Poseidonion Grand Hotel. The strategy for the coverage of the three-day happening is chiefly online via the hotel’s social media accounts, with original content and live streaming.
By using social media as a window into the event, Travelworks was able to increase audience engagement and thus created wider exposure for the historic hotel and its contribution to the hospitality sector in Greece.
